During 2024 the group gratefully received a donation from Whitley Bay Round Table to replace a number of tents for the group. If you are aware of any community funding or groups who are looking to support a local charity, please get in touch.

If you are a UK Income Tax payer then under UK Tax rules we can claim the Basic Rate of Income Tax back on all donations and subscription payments. To do this we need you to complete a simple form which allows us to collect all the information regarding. For more information on Gift Aid please visit the HMRC website
The simplest way for us and for most parents is to do this via Online Scout Manager. When logged in to view your child’s record please click the gift aid page. From here you can either decline (this lets us know not to try and follow you up) or update the declaration and give us your kind support.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising a free donation for 19th Whitley Bay (Easdon) Scouts? There are over 4,300 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s, who will donate a percentage of the amount you spend to our Scout Group to say thank you for shopping with them.
